You can make a real difference in the lives of people with developmental disabilities. We’re seeking passionate individuals to help guide our mission of promoting full community inclusion and potential for all.
As A Board Member, You Will:
- Shape strategies to empower individuals through assistive technologies and innovative programs
- Collaborate with families and community partners
- Attend 9 full board meetings annually
- Have the opportunity to join committees of your choice (Finance, Personnel, Strategic Planning, Development, and Nominating)
Your expertise will drive our vision of a more inclusive society.

Our Board Members:
- Commit to serving at least one 2-year term.
- Attend monthly meetings, actively engage in Board and committee work, and contribute your time and talent.
- Stay informed about our programs, partnerships, operations, marketing strategies, fundraising activities, and other strategic priorities.
- Represent MidState Arc in the community so others may learn about, benefit from, and contribute to the support we provide.
- Make a personally meaningful financial commitment and help the organization raise additional funds.

MidState Arc, in active partnership with families, promotes and advocates for people of all ages living with developmental disabilities, helping them to reach their full potential and become valued, respected, and connected members of their community through all means including Assistive Technologies.
Vision: Acceptance & Our Reach

Over 500 people receive supports in Housing and home support; employment, retirement, community engagement, volunteering, meals-on-wheels, and assistive technologies.
Our Annual Arc Run attracts over 100 runners, many volunteers, and community members.
Our Education programs reach people throughout the world.
Our annual Assistive Tech Conference and assistive technologies make a world of difference to 100’s of seniors and people with barrier issues to independent living.
