Our Mission
Midstate Arc, in active partnership with families, promotes and advocates for people of all ages living with developmental disabilities, helping them to reach their full potential and become valued, respected, and connected members of their community through all means including Assistive Technologies.
Our History
MidState Arc is a nonprofit dedicated to enabling people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) lead more independent and fulfilling lives. We were founded by families in 1952 and, today, we continue to operate with a great deal of input from families.
Our agency has supported hundreds of individuals in 26 towns across central Connecticut surrounding our headquarters in Meriden.
