Geri (Geralyn) Kogut is the current Board Chair for Midstate Arc. Geri is a parent of an individual who attends the MidState Arc Day program and resides in a residential setting with MidState Arc. Geri has served on the Board of Directors in several capacities, with the most recent position as Chairperson elected in 2024. She has her master's degree in education and, after many years of advocating for child in special education, taught in the Clinical Day setting within the special education field. While Geri has since retired from her professional life, she continues to be an advocate for foster children and is a former Court Appointed Special Advocate as well as a Guardian Ad Litem (GAL) for 13 years.
